one down, 24 to go

 Posted by Picasa

I think I've finally worked out my quilting issues. Here's the first square (diamond?) of the "Oh My Stars" quilt. The most important thing for me was switching to a smaller hoop. It means I have to move the hoop more, but it weighs a whole lot less! I also altered the quilting design somewhat so that it is a lot more connected for ease of quilting.

Wow! I really love following this project. What you have done looks really amazing. I was just commenting to Julie yesterday that I should do a handsewing project to practice for suturing (yes, I know, different medium, but still). Perhaps I should take up quilting.

I cannot wait to see the next 24.

    Dear Beth,
I am so happy for you, now you have the quilting bug. I am starting on a new one for my son's wedding present, I hope it comes out as nice as yours. Love your stiches, say hi to Aaron for me.
