I've been trying to figure out what design to use for the quilting on this. Enter powerpoint to the rescue. Would you ladies kindly take a look at the proposed designs below and weigh in with your opinion?

For what it is worth from the non quilting portion of the peanut gallery (chuckle), I really love option B. I liked the aspect of the center square in A and disliked how much was going on in the center in C. B just clicked with me when I saw it it and I thought oooh pretty! Kinda a gut feeling.

OK, if it were me, I'd prob do A, cuz its straightforward. But...

I like C. The fun diagonal/chaotic lines speak to me.

It took me a long time to figure out what I was looking at. I had to play an embarrassingly long game of "one of these things is not like the other one." All those years reading highlights as a child apparently didn't do much for me.

Hmmm. So Anita likes B. Julie likes A. Or maybe C. And my mother doesn't like C, but thinks B doesn't haven't enough in the center. Guess I'll just have to think about it a bit more, eh?

They all look good, however, I would choose A if you added an additional center square stitching rotated 45 degrees.

I thought this quilt's name should be "Oh my stars" because I saw so many while making it. I really like your lattice stitching. I'd like to see some type of star in the center block. Of course, I like to piece the quilt, not hand stitch it.

I would choose B but I would make the middle one of my own designs, then it would truly be from you. The quilt is beautiful and your Mother did a beautifull job on her end, now it is up to you. Of course you are my favorite so anything you do will be fine. And I really love this site, I feel like I,m with it or something.

I think they're all rad. I especially like the third one, but I'm sure it would make me dizzy if I had to do all of that stiching. I think its pretty neat you have this website between the family :) I've always admired the Patton family.
